Prospective Identification of Infants at Risk for an ASD

Research indicates that early intervention can reduce or eliminate some of the difficult symptoms of ASD. We are developing a parent-report screener for the detection of symptoms of ASD in the first year of life, in order to maximize the opportunities for early intervention. Parents with a child with an ASD and an infant under 12 months of age are invited to participate in a study examining this parent-report screener. Control families are also needed for this study.
