What is the ASD-CARC Research Registry?

The ASD-CARC Research Registry engages thousands of family members, children, and adults on the autism spectrum in ASD research. We are also recruiting for other ASD-related conditions and controls.

Through involvement with the Research Registry, individuals with an ASD and their families can take part in online research questionnaires, provide genetic samples by  mail, be contacted about other studies by ASD-CARC, and keep updated about findings by ASD-CARC's researchers. All information submitted to the Research Registry is secure, as stipulated by the ASD-CARC Privacy Policy.

Your participation and first-hand experience allows us to study developmental, genetic and environmental factors important in ASD susceptibility and to better understand different ASD characteristics (phenotypes).

How to Register

Complete our online registration form. This will take 5-10 minutes and requires giving your informed consent. You will also be asked about your immediate family members (names, dates of birth and diagnoses), how to contact you, and what types of studies you are interested in. If you have any questions you can call us at 1-866-273-2272 or email us at autism.research@queensu.ca.
