              ASD-CARC'S FOUNDER

Welcome to the research website of the Autism Spectrum Disorders — Canadian American Research Consortium, (ASD-CARC)! ASD-CARC is a multi-disciplinary team of more than 70 researchers and clinicians working with over 3000 families in Canada and internationally who are dedicated to understanding the Autism Spectrum. Advances in knowledge about ASDs will ensure earlier treatment and brighter futures for individuals on the spectrum and their families. Our goal is to recruit and engage over 10,000 families in our ASD research.

The Consortium is also one of the leading autism research organizations in the world, recognized by many different autism support organizations, and supported by several research grants.

This site is intended to provide accessible summaries of our many exciting research projects, up to date news on our activities and most importantly, an easy-to-use gateway for the continued participation and involvement of families and individuals with ASDs in our Research Registry and on-line questionnaires. Whether you are a parent, an adult with an ASD, a researcher, a student, a helping professional, or another interested visitor, this site will provide you with current information on all of ASD-CARC’s research initiatives. We hope you are able to find everything with ease and that our information is helpful to you. Please feel free to send us your comments and suggestions.

Enjoy your visit!

Sincerely,
