- Genetics Kits -

Families can help us study genetic and environmental factors that may contribute to ASD from anywhere in North America. When a family wishes to participate in our genetics study, a genetics kit is mailed directly to them. If you wish to receive a kit please contact us at genetics@autismresearch.com. Before sending the kit we require either a completed Pervasive Developmental Disorder Behavioural Inventory (PDDBI) questionnaire for the affected individual or a copy of a diagnostic report confirming a diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder (by mail, fax or email). Included are collection kits and consent forms for the registered family members. The collection kits are used to collect saliva samples or cheek swab samples. The completed kit is then returned by mail to us at no cost to the family.
